Koru Craft

Whilst I do not throw and most of my work could be described as sculptural or for outdoor use; I still like to make some functional pieces such as bowls and vases. Since this work is also fired to 1250°C it is suitable for domestic use.

My work in this section is decorated in a variety of ways, these include: coloured slips or underglazes under a transparent glaze; oxides used to highlight textures made in the clay using a range of natural objects; a range of stoneware glazes.
